If you’ve been paying attention the past week or so, you’ve seen a lot of mention of Chad Cherry (lead singer of The Last Vegas). But, perhaps you’ve been on a desert island for the past few years and might be thinking to yourself, Just who is this cat and what the fuck is he doing in a sexy vampire magazine? Those would be somewhat fair questions, so I decided to answer them … and then some … or, actually, get Chad to do the honors. After shooting photos of his advanced macking form, it only seemed fair to let him talk. I’m totally magnanimous like that *heh*.
What can one say about a band whose last album was voted in the iTunes Top 15 Rock Albums of the Year alongside Pearl Jam, Them Crooked Vultures, The Dead Weather and Black Crowes, was featured in Guitar Hero 2, and is described as, “They combine rock, glam, and garage for an ass-kicking sound” by Billboard magazine? You shut the hell up and let the music say it! Here are a few tasty tracks to get you in the mood.
And what of Chad, the TLV frontman? I have had the privilege of getting to know him as the editor of the Lip Service webzine. If you didn’t already know, he’s a massive horror freak and writes The Devil Inside, a killer monthly feature of horror and gore, often interviewing horror industry insiders and players in the dark art of scaring the crap out of us. So, of course, while I was busy exploiting him in a naughty way, thought it fair to turn the QnA tables and get his thoughts on vampires (one of our favorite subjects) and a few other sexy things along the way.
